This report provides analyses of tax breaks worth more than $100 million using data provided by the state government entities that oversee them. In addition to the report, the unaudited data filed with the Comptroller's Office can be accessed through an online database, which can be found here. 

The Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR) is the official annual report which details the financial position of the State and results of operations during the fiscal year. The Annual Comprehensive Financial Report is prepared in conformity with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), which are a common set of accounting principles, standards and procedures that entities use to compile their financial statements. This report was previously known as the Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR).

The Debt Transparency Report requires state agencies to report their monthly liabilities in a manner prescribed by the Comptroller. The report is intended to provide greater transparency and a truer sense of bills for state services incurred but not yet sent to the Illinois Office of Comptroller for payment.
