Meet Velvet, an 8-year-old Pittie mix. Velvet is a super sweet, but scared girl who really needs a special home to make her comfortable. Velvet was found on the side of the road after being hit by a car. With nowhere to go, she came to us and spent a month at our vet nursing a soft tissue injury. Nobody came looking for Velvet and she has been so confused as to what's going on with her life. Velvet would do best in a quiet home with no children. We don't know the life Velvet has lived before, but we hope to find her a home with someone who loves her as much as our volunteers do. This poor girl has been living a life of confusion and pain.
