Adoptable Critters

Kele

Kele

Meet Kele. Or as we call her--Bunny Cat--because with all her enthusiasm for life she looks like she is always hopping! Kele is a five month old kitten, who loves to play with other animals, especially other cats. When not playing with animals, Kele is keen on playing with mouse toys, wand toys, any type of cardboard and loves to use her scratching post.

Pierre

Pierre

Bonjour! Meet Pierre, a mature gentleman who would love to find a quiet, relaxing home where he can spend his golden years. Looking for someone to keep your lap warm? You’re in luck, because he absolutely love to sit on laps and snuggle with his human companions! His favorite activities also include lounging and playing with wand toys, and using his scratching post like a champ.

Jay

Jay

Meet Jay! Our smart 1- year-old Shepherd who is on the search for her forever home. She may not be a German Shepherd, but that didn’t stop this brilliant pup from learning commands in German from a previous trainer. Jay is a little slow to warm up to people, but her curiosity (and the help of some tasty treats) will have her happy and friendly in no time. Jay would do best with a family that can provide her consistent structure, boundaries, and exercise.

Lass

Lass

Meet Lass! This affectionate 4 year old Labrador Retriever/Shepherd mix is looking for a family she can give all her love to. Lass has lots of energy to play around all day, she crowns herself the champion of tug of war and she has yet to defeat her mighty Kong toys. After a day of playing and meeting new friends, Lass wants nothing more than to take a nap curled up next to you. She loves being with her family as much as possible, and isn’t all to happy when they have to leave.

Scotch

Scotch

Looking for a four-legged rascal with lots of personality? Scotch may be perfect for you! With his adorable snaggletooth, this playful Chihuahua mix is looking for for an owner to whom he can dedicate himself. He loves relaxing on soft doggy beds and munching on bones. He is quite affectionate to familiar people and loves to have his chin scratched.

Tegan

Tegan

Looking for a smart pup to teach tricks? Than Tegan is your dog! Tegan is a 1 year old Whippet/mix who knows how to work for his treats. He catches on quickly when learning new skills and would love to continue with advance training to show off his routines. If he can’t sleep next to you, then his next favorite spot would be a soft bed where he can bask in the sunlight. If Tegan isn’t training or taking a nap, you’ll find this pup looking for his favorite rope toy.

Poli

Poli

We have no doubt that Poli is a show stopper of a dog who surely turns heads every time he goes for a walk. Poli was adopted from us as a young dog and remained in his first home for 3 years before he was returned to us when his adopters could no longer care for him. He came back and didn’t spend much time here before he was adopted again. Poli was returned after 3 years with his family because he was not a good match with the young child in the home. We know that the third time’s the charm for sweet Poli and his perfect forever family is out there waiting for him. Poli’s ideal home would be with people who will be patient with him as he adjusts to his new environment. Poli loves to go for long walks and enjoys being active during the daytime and then hit the couch at night. Poli is searching for a quiet, adults-only home with an owner who will be able to go slow with him as he gets used to his new surroundings. He has lots of love to share with both humans and canines alike and would do well in a home with another laid back doggy friend. Poli also is a huge foodie and enjoys chewing on bones and will never say no to a treaty. Poli loves putting his brain to work in training class and hopes his family will continue with training to keep him challenged. Caramel

Caramel

Meet Caramel, the strong and beautiful Catahoula Leopard Dog mix. This two-year old girl is looking for her daily workout buddy. Caramel loves to go running as much as she can so 5 miles is now like a walk around the block for this speedster. Caramel has the full package of brains and beauty. She loves obedience and would love to continue her training in her adoptive home. Caramel doesn’t believe that there is a size limit when it comes to being a lap dog so when she’s finished both her mental and physical activities, this sweet girl just wants to curl up with you . Caramel’s forever home should be an active household who can continue her training, both mentally and physically. She is looking for a dog experienced, adults-only household to call her own. Caramel would also prefer to be the only animal in the house. Please stop by the PIppen Fasseas Adoption Center at 1997 North Clybourn Ave., in Chicago's Lincoln Park neighborhood to meet Caramel!

Colby

Colby

Need some southern soul in your life? Meet Colby! This gorgeous Labrador Retriever/mix originally came to PAWS Chicago from Tennessee. Colby is an energetic dog that loves exercising and being outdoors. He is smart and focused so he loves learning and mastering a new set of training skills. Colby would prefer a home with family members who are all over the age of 15 and who have experience with energetic dogs. He prefers to be the only animal in the house. If you are interested in meeting Colby, please visit our Pippen Fasseas Adoption Center at 1997 N. Clybourn Ave. in Chicago's Lincoln Park neighborhood.

Brody

Brody

One look at Brody’s winning smile and bright chocolate eyes and your heart will melt! This hound is a sensitive soul; a shy pup, he’ll need some time to acclimate to a new home and owners, but once he warms up, he’ll be a great companion. He is a bona fide couch potato and enjoys sleeping in his bed and listening to music while his owners are gone. Brody can be easily startled by unfamiliar people or quick movements, so he will require experienced owners in a quiet, adults-only home. He would prefer to be the only animal and would benefit from continued training. If you are interested in meeting Brody, please stop by our Pippen Fasseas Adoption Center at 1997 N. Clybourn Ave. in Chicago’s Lincoln Park neighborhood.
