Founded in 1899, The Anti-Cruelty Society is Chicago’s oldest and largest, private, open-admission, unlimited stay humane society. Fefe-This mature lady came to the shelter when her owner could no longer care for her, but she hasn't let that get her down. As an older dog, Fefe doesn't need much aside from the love and attention she so rightly deserves! When Fefe isn't goofing around with a ball or Frisbee, she is likely demanding attention for ear rubs from the closest human- her favorite thing in the world.

Layla is a gorgeous girl who came to the shelter when her former family was moving and couldn't take her along. Layla is a bright, clever and independent little lady who loves nothing more than batting around fun kitty toys!

Mikey-A very handsome gentleman, Mikey came to the shelter under very sad circumstances -- his owner passed away and left him with nowhere to go. Mikey is a very sweet guy who is calm and laid-back. Mikey can be a little shy at first, but offer a soft pet and you will soon see what a love he is.

Kaylee is a gorgeous girl who came to the shelter when she had a conflict with another pet in her former family. Kaylee is a shy little lady who is a bit scared here at the shelter. She is gentle and sweet, and enjoys soft pets and chin scratches.

Jade-This active older lady will surprise you with her bouncy antics and energetic nature. She'll need ways to keep occupied when alone as she can chew things she's not supposed to, and her previous owners reported she's efficient at escaping her crate.
